I have been using IDXManager for 3 years now and just started launching a new site this week. Only 6 hours after install and BAM, awsome site with instant super content. Smooth product ya got there boys...

Open Realty is a gift. We used it to develop a highly customized website with an automated IDX feed, and were impressed with the results. This software program is flexible and stable with an active community forum for peer support. It laid a solid foundation for our unique customization needs.
With our high-profile client, we also needed some other services tailored to our specific needs. In addition to purchasing the IDX Manager add-on from Transparent Technologies, we also signed up for their hosting and technical support packages. This was probably the best decision we made in our website development process. The team at Transparent Technologies was exceptionally helpful, responding to each of our development requests within a day -- even on weekends and holidays (do they ever rest?). They not only provided useful technical solutions to problems we didn't even expect them to solve, but they also came loaded with important knowledge about MLS listing rules. Their advice was invaluable, and we couldn't have done it without them.

This past year has brought us to an interesting point in time. Open Realty 2.5.6 is out with lots of new features, The VOW policy is adopted by MLS's across the country and RETS servers are provided by most MLS' per NAR mandates.
With so many new technologies and business rules available it was time to upgrade my site to all of the latest software. I especially wanted to upgrade from my custom coded IDX importer to a RETS feed. I tried some of the open source RETS clients that are available. Especially the ones that are supposed to work with Open Realty. I then contacted Transparent Technologies about Transparent RETS.
You all were very helpful and took the time to assess my MLS’s server, finding some RETS standards compliance issues. ( this was a great help in getting the corrections made) As you know, I eventually bought the product and was elated to find that it was extremely easy to install and set up. The user interface is much better than other RETS Clients I tried and within minutes was connected to the RETS server and pulling data.
The TRETS client queried the server and displayed all of the property fields available. I simply went down the list and checked the fields I wanted to import and hit "Auto Map". The system automatically created all of the fields in my OR database! Brilliant! Setting up the queries to only import the data I wanted was also extremely easy and intuitive.
Literally, in 10 minutes I was pulling data into my site. It automatically cleaned up the database by removing old properties and it works with OR’s new property notification system. Something I was missing from my custom coded solution. The best part is that it is so easy to use that I do not worry about the MLS making data changes in the future. This is going to make my site much easier to maintain. I also feel the site is on a much better platform on which to add future capabilities.
Considering the many hours I spent with other products to get any data imported, and all the tinkering required for making changes to the import, I feel the cost of Transparent RETS was a bargain. The fact that you were there to help with identifying issues on my MLS’s server was also a huge benefit and something I would never have been able to do on my own.
I am looking forward to completing the implementation of my new site using this product. It truly is a huge improvement to my site.
I would recommend this product to anyone who is setting up an OR site and has a RETS server available. It is the way to go.

We have been developing websites for clients for a number of years. We often have to deal with support departments and over the years we have found that many of these (probably the majority) have a poor or not so great support service. Often we have been of the thought that "we got their money now - so they can wait for the support" kind of attitude. "Transparent Technologies" have surpassed our best hopes for support. Not only is Open Realty a truly established and excellent product but the level of support, the turn around time, the amount of patience and commitment to quality service Transparent Technologies have given us - is simply astonishing. If there is anyone out there who has not made their minds up about purchasing the professional services from TT then we urge you to go with them. What price do you pay for true peace of mind in today's market of IT?

I already have this idea of doing a multiple Realtor web sites with the capability to pool MLS database. Then, I found Open-Realty and that is! By tweaking of php scripts. I had done it! Without great help from Transparent Technologies, I wouldn't be able to do up Multiple linked Property Portal Web Sites. The flexibility to be able to configure access to hosting MySql is very important, only Transparent Technologies provide this feature.

It's hands down the best *free* product for real estate. If you've configured any other script, this should be fairly easy. Not for a total novice, but I figured it out, and I'm no programmer! Kudos!
